Softball team off to 3-0 start

The Moyers Corners Softball Team has started defense of their regular season title with 3 wins and 0 losses. Included in the winning streak are two shutouts highlighted by a perfect game this Wednesday vs. Cicero. Honorary Member Ray VanOrden was on the mound for the Perfect Game as the offense produced the 15 - 0 win over Cicero FD.
With wins over Belgium and Cody FD, MCFD is looking forward to hosting Volney FD next week, June 2, before going on the road to meet Phoenix FD on the 9th. On the 16th MCFD plays host to Liverpool, which is annually one of the best games in the Northern Section. This sets up the meeting with the surprise of the league, North Syracuse on June 23.
All home games are played at the Town of Clay Central Field located off Wetzel Road next to the YMCA. Games start at 6:30 and we hope you can come out and support your team.
