On Wednesday, June 16, 2004, the Moyers Corners Softball Team remained undefeated with an 8-3 victory over our Neighbors to the South, Liverpool Fire Department. LVP came out swinging with 3 runs in the top of the first, which was matched by the Corners bats. Following the First, Ray VanOrden and the defense kept LVP hitless, to keep the run total to 3.
The Corners on the season have provided 101 runs for and 26 runs against, including 1 perfect game by Honorary Member Ray VanOrden. The next game is scheduled for this coming Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at home (Clay Central, next to YMCA on Wetzel Rd.) against the other undefeated team of the League, North Syracuse Fire Department. The game time is set for 1830. We look forward to seeing everyone there...
