Hazmat Technician Course

Firefighters from around Onondaga County are attending a Hazardous Materials Technician Course at Moyers Corners Fire Station #2 that is being presented by a New York State OFPC Instructor.  This course consists of 6 sessions and provides a level of training that will allow the firefighters to actively assist in the remidation of a hazardous materials incident.  Many of the attendants are members of the Onondaga County Special Operations Team which is tasked with responding to hazardous materials incidents within Onondaga County, outside the City of Syracuse.
