Bus Rescue Courses Attended

March 28th and 29th, Firefighters from Moyers Corners Fire Department - Station 1 attended a Bus Rescue I Course and Bus Rescue II Course in Seneca County, NY.  

The Bus Rescue I Course consists of one night (4 hours) of classroom lecture on bus anatomy, extrication specifics and the special problems associated. Bus Rescue II allows for a hands-on session (4 hours) to apply concepts presented and begin proficiency in related extrication skills.  The hands-on session was divided between two buses, with the opportunity for all to participate.  New York State OFPC Fire Specialist Gerald T. Mazurkiewicz Jr presented the courses.
