MCFD Opens Fire Prevention Display At Great Northern Mall

With the cooperation of the management of Great Northern Mall (the Macerich Company), the Moyers Corners Fire Department has been given access to use a vacant tenant space for a fire prevention display thru October 31, 2005.  The display is located in the vacant store next to "Hot Topic" in the Dick's wing of the mall.  Currently on display are a variety of "action" photos, apparatus photos from the past along with a current photo of the MCFD apparatus fleet.  Additionally, maps of the MCFD district and a variety of memorabilia are displayed.  Plans for future use include fire prevention materials for the public with limited staffing of the display by MCFD members.  We hope to utilize this space to its maximum ability during National Fire Prevention Week in October.  Please stop by and see our display while shopping at the mall.
