Engine 12 Takes in a Tractor Fire

Sunday, May 27, 2007- At approximately 1515 hours the volunteers of Moyers Corners Station 1 were dispatched to a reported fire of a farm tractor, with reports that the tractor could explode. Engine 12 responded with a crew of 4 lead by Capt. Fedorich, and Battalion Chief 1 (Bailey) responded as the Command officer. Upon arrival they found a large farm mower on fire with extension to a nearby field, both located about a ¼ mile from the road. With a quick suppression effort by the crew only a small portion of the field and the mower were damaged. By 1545 hours the Engine was in quarters and back into service.
