Jan 13, 2009 - 07:07 pm
On Monday, January 12, 2009 at 12:11 hours, Liverpool with mutual assistance from Moyers Corners (St. 2) and Baldwinsville (for the RIT) were dispatched for the house fire, fire from the front of the house at 123 Saltwell Rd.  Liverpool Car 2 (DC Vincentore) arrived confirmed the working fire, dispatched the Signal 99 and assumed command.  LVP Car 3 (DC Ormsby) arrived, assumed the operations sector as LVP E1 (Techmanski) arrived on their own hydrant and stretched the initial line to the front door and began suppression.  Moyers Corners Truck 2 was clearing another alarm in Bat. 1's area and offered their assistance to LVP Car 2.  Truck 2 (Lt. Driscoll) was added and arrived behind E22 (Lt. Belczak) as the first due Truck while E22 had the second due engine assignment.  The E22 crew was assigned the 2nd handline while the Truck crew was assigned vertical ventilation.  As Lakeside crews finished their searches (which proved negative) of the upper level, all crews were ordered out of the structure.  Once the bulk of the fire was knocked down, crews again returned into the structure for mop up and overhaul.  Other Units operating on scene included LVP E5, LVP T2, multiple squads, Baldwinsville R1 as the RIT assignment, and multiple cover assignments.  Moyers Corners units cleared by 14:00.
