61st Annual Installation Banquet

   On Saturday January 17th, the volunteers from Moyers Corners celebrated 61 years of service with their annual installation banquet. The event was held at the Holiday Inn on Electronics Parkway in Liverpool. Master of Ceremonies was Warren Darby, Undersheriff with the Ononondaga County Sheriff's Department. This year's banquet was dedicated to Moyers Corners Fire Department Charter Members Bill Arnold, Dick Dudley, and Edwin Melvin.

   The swearing in of all incoming officer's, executive board members, fire police, and ladies auxiliary was conducted by Vivian Mason, Town of Clay Clerk. Since Vivian is retiring after 30 years of service to the residents of the Town of Clay, the fire department presented her with plaque for outstanding contribution. The surviving Charter Members were also recognized by the membership with heartfelt speeches and a jacket, as requested by them. Other highlights from the evening included:
