On Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 18:05 hours, Liverpool with mutual assistance from Moyers Corners Truck 2 and Baldwinsville as the RIT were dispatched for the reported house fire with a couple calls at 1204 Oswego Street in the Village of Liverpool (2 houses away from Liverpool Station 1). Liverpool Car 4 arrived to find fire showing from the 2nd floor and declared a working fire (Signal 99). LVP E2 arrived with E5, both establishing their own water supplies and 2 attack lines were stretched from E5 to the fire floor. Moyers Corners Truck 2 (FF Rowland) and Squad 2 (Lt. Belczak- returning from the hospital from earlier alarm) along with BC2 (BC Bressette) arrived 3rd due (1st speciality) and split into 2 crews (BC Bressette assigned Safety Officer), 1 opening up walls and ceilings while the other crew advanced an additional line into the structure. After recognizing significant extension, command ordered interior crews out of the structure to allow for master stream operations. Once master stream operations ceased, crews were again permitted back into the structure to continue checking for extension in knee walls and void spaces. Pockets of fire were found and extinguished. Moyers Corners equipment operated for approximately 2.5 hours before returning to service. Moyers Corners E32 was assigned a coverage assignment to Liverpool during the incident. Units operating on scene and in coverage assignments included Liverpool, Moyers Corners, Baldwinsville, Lakeside, Belgium Cold-Springs, Taunton, Clay, Mattydale, and Seneca River.
