Rescue 4 Extricates 1 on Soule Road

Moyers Corners Battalion 1 was alerted to a motor vehicle collision following a police pursuit on Soule Road near the middle school. Battalion 1 [Crispin] arrived and notified incoming units that one patient would need to be extricated.
Rescue 4 [Lt. Zaferakis] arrived first, stabilized the vehicle, and extricated the patient by removing the roof of the sedan. Engine 11 [Lt. Schweitzer] arrived and provided scene support and safety. Engine 41 [FF Sears] assisted Rescue 4 with the extrication. Engine 22 [Lt. Belczak] was also called to the scene for additional support. Total extrication time was 13 minutes. NOVA Ambulance transported the patient to a local hospital.
