MCFD Receives Donated Mattresses
Oct 08, 2011 - 01:13 am
The Simmons Bedding Company and Raymour & Flanigan recently donated ten new ComforPedic memory foam mattresses to the Moyers Corners Fire Department. These mattresses will help firefighters "sleep cool" thanks to the cooling properties found in the ComforPedic Loft NxG memory foam. Neil Goldberg, President and CEO of Raymour & Flanigan stated, "We honored to give back to Onondaga County firefighters who fearlessly protect our community. We hope these new beds provide the firefighters with comfortable and rejuvenating sleep and serve as a reminder of our ongoing gratitude for their dedication".
Representatives from Simmons and Raymour & Flanigan made the surpise delivery on Monday September 12th to Moyers Corners Station 1. The four bunk-in students at Station 1 all received new mattresses, while the other six went to the main sleeping quarters. This "work hot, sleep cool" Firestation Makeover is part of the 20 week ComforPedic Loft roadshow tour which will travel more than 10,000 miles to showcase the new product line. Thank you very much to the Simmons Bedding Company and Raymour & Flanigan for the generous donation.
